He served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradeshbetween 2003-2007.Mulayam Singh Yadav was born to Murti Devi and Sughar Singh on 22 November 1939 in the village Saifai of Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh in India.Yadav married twice. His first wife was Malti Devi, whose son is Akhilesh Yadav. the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Yadav’s second wife is Sadhna Yadav, a son named Prateek Yadav.
