Tungabhadra  Stream is shaped by the conjunction of the Tunga  Waterway and the Bhadra Waterway which stream down the eastern inclitunga-badra-riverne of the Western Ghats in the state of Karnataka.

The waterways  begin in Chikmagalur  Region of Karnataka alongside the Nethravathi  (west-streaming stream,  joining the Bedouin Ocean close Mangalore),  the  Tunga and the Bhadra climb at Gangamoola,  in Varaha Parvatha in the Western Ghats shaping parts of the Kuduremukh Iron Mineral Venture,  at a rise of 1198 meters. The Bhadra stream courses through the modern city Bhadravathi.  More than 100 tributaries,  streams, rivers, rivulets and so forth help the two waterways.  The trip of the Tunga and the Bhadra is 147 km (91 mi) and 171 km (106 mi) individually,  till they join at Koodli,  at a height of around 610 meters close Holehonnur,  around 15 km (9.3 mi) from Shivamogga, areca storage facility of the nation. It is an intercection of both the Dwaitha and the Adwaitha rationalities. From that point,  the Tungabhadra winds through the fields to a separation of 531 km (330 mi) and blends with the Krishna at Gondimalla,  close to the renowned Alampur in Mahaboobnagar Locale of Telangana .  The Varada moving through Shimoga, Uttara Kannada and Haveri areas and Hagari in Chitradurga,  Bellary region, Koppal Area and Raichur Regions in Karnataka and the Handri in Kurnool distriict of A.p. are the primary tributaries of the Tungabhadra. Numerous rivulets and streams join these tributaries.
